The Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission start date of 1 October 2012 delayed
The Assistant Treasurer has announced that because the legislation establishing the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission (ACNC) was not passed in Parliament the scheduled start date of 1 October has been delayed. As the Senate will not resume until 9 October the legislation is not expected to be passed until mid to late October.We will notify when the new start date is announced.
