Jackson is a specialist charities and corporate lawyer, having significant experience advising charitable, not-for-profit and faith-based institutions on a wide range of governance, compliance, structuring, intellectual property, and regulatory matters. Having an intricate knowledge of the unique challenges faced by both secular and religious not-for-profit entities, Jackson combines his technical expertise with a genuine passion for helping these organisations thrive – delivering the kinds of outcomes which enable his clients to have a substantial and widespread impact within their operational environments.
Having advised a diverse array of clientele, ranging from small local churches through to clients with larger and more sophisticated structures, Jackson understands the importance of providing clear, comprehensive and practical guidance that is tailored to his clients’ specific missions and values. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) – graduating with First Class Honours – and a Bachelor of Business (Management), giving him a distinct ability to approach legal issues from a variety of different perspectives and provide adapted solutions which best suit his clients’ organisational contexts.
Above all, Jackson views his work as “helping people help people” – he is deeply committed to supporting his clients in navigating the complexities of the not-for-profit sector so that they can focus on what truly matters most: delivering assistance and relief to the most vulnerable in society.
